Our Mission
We only need to prepare and be ready to answer with the truth as we read and understand it, to everyone that bows down to drink.
John 12:32 · KJV
“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
Outreach
God being all knowing, and Jesus knowing all that He sees from the Father, I will say all the happenings that day was an encounter designed by the Father.
Luke 19:3-5 · KJV
“And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.”
What I want to ask you today, will you be there when He looks up? Because that is what the Word does, it causes us to seek Him out at all cost.
We are being deliberate in sharing the Word of God in the simplest form, reaching every age group or educational background. From our experience we believe everybody can receive understanding.
We identify directly with community, and without it, where are we? The command is forsake not to assemble yourselves. And for who? For us.
Hebrews 10:25 · KJV
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
Even though Hebrews reads like a command, Psalm 133 lists the benefits of believers assembling together in unity.
Psalm 133 · KJV
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
Our Vision
Paul said in Romans 10:14,
Romans 10:14 · KJV
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
We all have a part to play as assigned by God, and all we are called to do is to fulfill the assignment.
Then Paul speaks of verse 15, about the assignment, and how beautiful are the feet of those who carry that assignment.
Romans 10:15 · KJV
“And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
Being servants of the Word, we hope to perform our due diligence so that it’s not just a word, but the Word doing real work in each of our lives.
How I read
It is my belief that Scripture as we read them in the Bible has one meaning, but several revelation and application of which we live by.
New studies every Thursday
This is the Thursday study, the deliberate sitting down with the Word, and right now it is walking through Genesis.
Here the Word proves first, always, and everything else waits its turn.
These studies are written plain and slow, for the young reader and for the believer who was never handed the deep things gently, no heavy words, no showing off, just Scripture opened until it feeds you.
Expository
From a morning, a word, a moment
These come out of the living of a day, a morning prayer, a word heard, a moment the Lord opened, and some begin warm and grow all the way into a full study.
